Several people have asked us what the preferred option for paying for art is. I’m happy to say that we will be accepting cash, cheque or credit card, although cheques are preferred as they will be the quickest to process.
Also please note that all sales are subject to 8% PST except art which has been 100% donated by the artist.
It sounds like Aroma is going to be packed tonight, if you are unable to get a table don’t forget that you can always stop by and have a drink at the bar.

I was just over at Aroma checking up on things and Chef Soyic informed me that there are only nine tables left for our Good Tastes night on January 24th. More reservations came even while I was there and it looks like tables are going to sell out so don’t be disappointed, make a reservation now!
If you can’t get a table you are very welcome to have a drink at the bar, Aroma prides itself on its well stocked bar and wine selection. Of course if you can’t make the night at all, we are happy to place a bid in absentia for you. Just give us a call at the gallery 613-548-4883
To make a reservation at Aroma call 613-541-0330 and mention Good Tastes.

We are very excited to have renowned vocal Jazz Duo Sara Hamilton and David accompanying our Good Tastes dinner. The duo have produced tasty, swinging jazz for the past three decades in Toronto and Calgary, and have won rave reviews from jazz fans around the world.
“Sara Hamilton’s voice is a divinely husky, rich contralto that effuses warmth and intimacy. A masterful storyteller, her laid-back delivery is smooth and flawless, leaving tons of breathing room to create the perfect balance of tension and release that melds with her combined elements of delicacy and strength… David’s piano is the cornerstone of the sound, inspiring the hard swinging feel that is the mark of this recording, and the backbone for the guest musicians to build their dynamic presence upon. ….The duo’s signature is found in their intricate vocal dance as they perform their harmony and unison work, the timbres of their individual voices an ideal pairing .” - Reviewed by Cindy McLeod of Jazz Elements

Welcome to the website for our Good Tastes Silent Art Auction and dinner. This site is intended to provide a little more information on our Good Tastes event and preview the art as well as provide some behind the scenes commentary on putting on the event as the next few weeks unfold. To check out a quick art preview, select the Silent Auction Art Preview tab
We have just had a meeting at our venue, Aroma Restro-Winebar and we are all really excited by the possibilities to be had, not to mention the tasty food! The lamb kofte was my favorite. Chef Soyic has been very generous with his time and is not only letting us run a silent auction in his restaurant he is even donating a portion of the food sales on the night of the 24th towards Modern Fuel. Now that is fantastic community support!
Everything is coming together with three weeks until the big event on January 24th. In the meantime we will be trying to update this website with in-depth artist profiles, more pictures and blog posts on Good Tastes happenings.
Stay Tuned!
